Shepherd Fencing was founded to bring a higher standard of workmanship to fence installation in Central Pennsylvania. While the company itself is new, the hands behind it aren't. We come from 15 years of full-time construction experience — roofing, siding, gutters, drywall, electrical, plumbing, framing, and everything in between.
Before that, the owner grew up on a Lancaster County farm. That's where the work ethic started — early mornings, finishing what you start, and never cutting corners. On a farm, shortcuts come back to bite you. The same standard carries into every fence line we run today.
That background matters. A fence isn't just panels in a hole. It's a structure that has to fight weather, soil, frost heave, kids, dogs, and time. The same care that goes into building a house goes into every fence line we run.
